At Delta Economics we offer flat-rate pricing for Reports at very competitive rates
Economic Loss Reports include all relevant analysis, including discussion and conclusion as to lost wages, pensions, benefits, and household services. NJ Reports include income tax considerations and reduction to present value, as well as lost companionship and advice & counsel, in wrongful death cases. We are also experts at Life Care Plan Valuations which we prepare at the same rate as other Reports. Because of varying complexity, we quote rates based on type and state of jurisdiction. If a case requires additional time (ex. complex retirement benefits), we will discuss the rate with you in advance and confirm it in an invoice upon accepting the assignment. We generally ask for 4-6 weeks for preparation, once all the data is received. If a rush is required, we reserve the right to charge a rush premium not to exceed $500.
New York
- $2,400 for Personal Injury Reports & LCP Valuations. *
- Wrongful Death cases are typically $3,400 depending on the complexity.
- Employment cases are generally $2,800 depending on the complexity of the case.
New Jersey
- $2,600 for Personal Injury Reports & LCP Valuations are tipically $2,500. *
- Wrongful Death cases are typically $3,400 depending on the complexity.
- Employment cases are generally $3,000.
*When an LCP Valuation is requested at the same time as a Personal Injury Report the fee for both is $4,000
Questionnaire
Please provide us with the completed questionnaire, located here, which includes the Complaint, Answers to Interrogatories, Tax Returns, and Depositions as appropriate. Payment is requested in advance. A non-refundable $1,000 naming fee shall apply if named as a witness without prior consent. $500 of any initial retainer is non-refundable if work is cancelled at the request of the client.
Deposition & Trial Testimony
- Testimony is billed at $375/hour. Revisions and preparation in advance of testimony: $275. Travel: $120/hour.
- $1,500 Scheduling Retainer to Schedule Depositions. That is also the minimum daily rate. No additional fee will be incurred unless the value of the actual hours expended exceeds the retainer amount.
- $2,500 Scheduling Retainer to Schedule Trials. That is also the minimum daily rate. No additional fee will be incurred unless the value of the actual hours expended exceeds the retainer amount.
Timing
Our usual time to complete reports is about 4 weeks, subject to our timely receipt of all the requisite information.
Rush orders may be accommodated for an additional fee. Rush Rate for Reports due in 2 weeks or less: Up to $1,000–to be agreed with Client at the time of engagement.
